The Buddha Lodge in Phakding is well known and well respected for quality accommodation as well as restaurant and bar services in Phakding, Solukumbu, Nepal.

The Buddha Lodge in Phakding is owned by Dorje Sherpa who is an experienced sirdar in the Himalaya having worked on many mountaineering expeditions.

Phakding is the exciting first over night on the world famous trek to Everest Base Camp (EBC). After landing in Lukla and experiencing one of the most exciting airports in the world Phakding is a leisurely 3 hours walk from Lukla. The village at 2652 m is the perfect relaxation point either starting or ending a trek or mountaineering expedition.

Unfortunately the original lodge was damaged by the earthquakes of April and May 2015. Dorje has been dedicated in rebuilding the lodge, even adding an extra floor to cater for the many guests who enjoy returning to the Buddha Lodge Phaking.
